Family Companion I covers basic obedience skills and dog behavior. Each week, owners will learn techniques to help them build on their training skills: introduction to positive reinforcement, refocusing techniques, sits, downs, stays, recalls & relaxed heel. The Family Companion course focuses on the relationship between the owner and dog. The Family Companion I class is offered at a reduced rate to dogs adopted through Our Companions, and to dogs being fostered by any other animal rescue organization.
Classes will be held at the Valerie Friedman Program Center beginning on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, from 6:00 - 7:00 pm. The first class is for people only. No dogs Please. Fee for the classes is $100.00, plus $6.35 state sales tax, for a total of $106.35. Sorry, no refunds once the class has begun.
